Katerina Nordin

Katerina joined the ERC-funded project in May 2022 and is responsible for the coordination of the administrative and financial aspects of the project. She also assists in coordinating aspects of the research and its related requirements.

Katerina joined the Oxford Department of International Development  2017, and has worked on the Changing Structure of Islamic Authority (CSIA) project as Project Coordinator, and with Young Lives as a Project Officer.

Katerina holds an MPhil in Islamic Studies and History from the University of Oxford, where she focused on education and female-led spaces of learning, and a BA (hons) in History from the School of Oriental and African Studies. She has worked in various roles in research and project management capacities, focusing on the Muslim world, education, development and employment.
