Benjamin Schott joined CIC in July 2023 as a Quantitative Researcher. Having recently completed his masters in Geography and Geopolitics at the University of Panthéon Sorbonne in Paris and with an undergraduate degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies at the University of Oxford, he brings geomapping, quantitative data analysis, and Arabic and French language skills to the project.
Benjamin’s interest in the Islamic world has taken him across the Middle East and North Africa. In Jordan, he worked with various Arab media organisations; while in Tunis, he worked as an urbanisation policy analyst and is interested himself with mosque networks.
